766 - M12 Socket Connectors with Profibus Cable

Back

It is important for Profibus and Ethernet users to conduct the shield of the cable extensively over the whole network in order to avoid signal losses and disturbances.
For applications where it is not possible or not wanted to connect the shield to the PCB a Profibus cable was crimped to the standard socket housings. In that way the diecasted zinc housing is connected to the shielding braid of the cable.
These connectors are currently offered as reverse-key (B-coded) versions with a standard cable length of 0,5 m.
Main fields of application are to lead through Profibus cables with the option of mounting the connector housing (rear and front) to a control cabinet.
D-coded variants for Ethernet applications are under preparation.
