An AS Interface System allows power and data to be transmitted via a single cable only. Applications for the AS interface can be found in conveyor systems, the packaging industry and process technology. As an alternative to conventional parallel wiring of sensors and actuators, the AS interface permits clear cabling. The distributors for sensors and actuators in the 772 series are ready to connect, pluggable and can be customised with 4.6 or 8 inputs and outputs.
